Master in
Sustainable Materials
& Industrial Innovation
A fully-funded postgraduate programme issued by Valahia University of Târgoviște, where rigorous academic training meets real industrial practice inside KIK Compounds.
Not a classroom master.
An industrial one.
KIK Academy is an officially accredited postgraduate programme combining rigorous academic training with direct industrial immersion inside a leading European compound materials company.
Issued by Valahia University of Târgoviște, a public EU university. Fully accredited, internationally recognised, with all the legal standing of a European postgraduate degree.
All courses, seminars, research projects and industrial activities are conducted exclusively in English. The environment is fully international from day one.
Students divide their time between academic coursework and real practice inside KIK Compounds. This is not a simulation, it is direct involvement in R&D and production.
Open to candidates from engineering, chemistry, materials science, environmental science and related technical-scientific fields with strong academic records.
Only 20 candidates
will be selected.
Worldwide.
KIK Academy is not an open-enrolment programme. A rigorous international selection process will identify 20 exceptional candidates, and only 20. The process is merit-based, competitive, and uncompromising.
20 positions · international candidates · merit-based selection
Selected candidates
pay nothing.
Nothing at all.
KIK Academy covers every cost that would normally make postgraduate study inaccessible. The goal is to attract the most talented candidates regardless of their economic background, and let merit be the only criterion.
University Tuition
The Engineering of Sustainable Materials Master's programme is a two-year, English-taught course combining engineering, research and hands-on laboratory training in advanced, sustainable materials. Full enrolment fees at Valahia University are entirely covered by KIK Academy
Official Campus Housing
Students are housed directly within the official university campus, a structured, international academic environment, not private or improvised accommodation.
Monthly Remuneration
A monthly economic contribution is provided to all selected candidates throughout the programme duration.
20 hours a week.
Inside a real company.
This is not a part-time job to support your studies. Students work 20 hours per week inside KIK Compounds, directly in the field they are studying. The work is coherent, meaningful, and career-defining.
A balanced full-time workload that integrates practice and theory in a single coherent programme.
- → R&D in bioplastics and biodegradable compounds
- → Material testing and quality analysis
- → Extrusion process involvement
- → Circular economy project development
- → Technical simulations and new material research
- → Sustainable production support
Students do not work in a cafeteria or in roles unrelated to their studies. Every hour at KIK Compounds builds directly on what they study, and on what the industry needs.
Living inside
a real university campus.
Selected students are housed directly within the official Valahia University campus — a structured, organised, and genuinely international academic environment. This is not a private flat or improvised shared accommodation.
On-campus accommodation managed directly by the university, within the academic community.
Living and studying alongside students and researchers from across Europe and the world.
Housing costs are entirely covered by KIK Academy for the full duration of the programme.
A city with deep historical roots, well connected, within the European Union.
